Interpretations was originally conceived in 1998, titled Isolation: Interpretation No. 1, the premise of the work was to capture the feeling of isolation. The work develops very slowly with single notes lingering, leaving an openness that gets harshly interrupted. The work should be reflective and/or contemplative to both the performer and the listener.

Performed/interpreted by Hiromi Abe (pianist, composer, audio engineer)
